LEASING RIGHTS

You will receive an encoded MP3 file of the untagged song. The song file can be delivered digitally or through the mail on a CD. Buyer is responsible for paying shipping and handling. Leasing rights allow you the right to use the beat (or song) for ONE commercial recording or broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your own price. You may also use the beat for non-profit promotional use or demos. You have full rights to record, alter, and mix the beat/song in any shape, way, or form (except reselling the beat). In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights shall stand for non-profit promotional use or demos. You must, however, give full credit to the seller (artist and/or producer name) on all commercial recordings. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the seller still owns the beat(s) and the seller is able to lease the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased. All leases sold are non-exclusive.

SPECIAL USES:

TV, Movies, Commercials, Websites

Charity Organizations: You may use song one for free, but must give full credit to the artist/producer.
Student Projects for School/College: You may use one song for free, but must give full credit to the artist/producer.
Commercials, In-House, Company Publications: For publications with less than 50,000 viewers, exclusive rights suffice. Terms are to be discussed for larger publications.
Websites (less than 100,000 monthly hits): Leasing rights suffice.
Websites (other): Exclusive rights must be acquired.
TV/Movie: Terms to be discussed.

Please Remember: This agreement is NON-EXCLUSIVE - More than one person can lease the beat.

Tracked Out Beats:

All lease(s) are Mp3 stereo format. For tracked out beat(s) you must purchase the EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS. All exclusive rights are different and terms are to be discussed with Bettabeats.com.

Royalties / Back-end payments:

You will share the joint copyright of the beat with the producer. The producer will get 50% of the writers credit for the completed song. This usually means 50% of all statutory publishing and mechanical royalties will be paid to the producer of the beat.

Producer Credits:

Artists must give the producer credit for his/her work. Lease terms include that the artist must give "Bettabeats.com" credit for his/her work in creating the beat.

Written Credit on Any Duplication or Online Distribution:

Written credit is usually included in the CD booklet or on a website where the song is located.

Verbal Credit:

A Bettabeats.com" drop, which is already included in the song.

Song Writer Split Sheets:

All artists purchasing "Exclusive Rights" will be required to fill out a "Song Writer Split Sheet".
